Permission to use the software

Mosaic and LiveVault are licensed, not sold as intellectual property. A valid licence permits use of the relevant app within the product, device and version scope stated in the offer and your order. A download alone does not grant paid-feature access.

No additional device limit, subscription obligation or paid-upgrade commitment is created by this page. Read the actual offer and licence presented with your purchase or installation. Any free or limited mode is governed by its stated scope.

Your files remain yours

The licence does not transfer ownership of your original files to Fancy Little Company. You remain responsible for having rights to media you import, record, download, transcribe or share. The software cannot grant rights held by a creator, broadcaster or platform.

Keep your own backups. A catalogue and its media files are different things, and losing one may affect your ability to locate or use the other.

Use and restrictions

Do not use the apps to break the law, infringe rights, capture private material without permission, bypass access controls or distribute harmful content. Do not redistribute licence keys or sell unauthorised copies of the software.

You may not reverse engineer or circumvent licensing except where applicable law expressly permits it. Nothing here limits rights granted by an open-source licence for a component covered by that licence.

Third-party components and services

Third-party components retain their own copyright notices and licence terms. Relevant notices should be read with the release you install. Provider and cloud accounts remain subject to their own terms; Fancy Little Company is not affiliated with or endorsed by those services.

Stream or download availability can change. The apps do not guarantee access to all media visible in another device, account or player.

Updates, refunds and ending the licence

Only the update and support scope stated in your offer is included. An available public update is not a promise of unlimited future major versions. Back up your data before a significant update and review the release’s compatibility information.

A refunded or revoked paid entitlement may stop paid features. It does not grant permission to delete your media. You may stop using the app and uninstall it; choose separately whether to keep your catalogue and files.

Consumer protections

Nothing in this licence removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be waived, including rights relating to defective or misdescribed software. Contact hello@fancylittlecompany.com if the app is not working as described.
