Make sure you can save it
Use your own material, public-domain material, or media you have permission to record or download. Permission to watch a stream is not automatically permission to save or share it.
Respect the boundaries
Follow provider terms and the laws that apply to you. Do not bypass DRM, paywalls, private accounts, regional restrictions or other access controls.
Think before sharing
A personal archive does not give you redistribution rights. Obtain the necessary permission before publishing clips, recordings, transcripts or someone else’s personal information.
Look after what you keep
Choose secure storage and sensible retention. Do not send another person’s private media or credentials with a support request.
