What is on this site
The site is run by Fancy Little Company, an independent design studio in Jamaica. It shows our work, website templates you can buy, and private website concepts prepared for particular businesses. Template previews are demonstrations built around fictional businesses. Names, prices, services and people in them are invented, and nothing you enter in a preview is sent, booked or charged.
Buying a template
A template purchase gives you editable source for one website under the single-site template licence. Prices are in US dollars and payment is taken by PayPal. Your receipt and private download link are emailed to the address you give at checkout. Refunds and cancellations follow the refund terms.
A template is a starting point that you set up and publish yourself. Hosting, a domain, card payments, accounts with other services and customisation are not included unless we have agreed them in writing. Demonstration photographs, typefaces and copy must be reviewed, licensed or replaced before your site represents a real business. Template Care is an optional subscription for template updates, compatibility fixes and email support; it is not hosting or site management.
Website projects
Built-for-you and managed websites are separate services. Each starts with an agreed scope and a written quote, and nothing on this site is an offer to build at a fixed price until that quote is accepted.
Concepts sent to businesses
If we emailed you a website concept, it is an independent, uncommissioned design. It does not mean we work with or for your business, and you owe us nothing. The private link expires, normally after 14 days, and you can opt out of further contact with the link in the email. The concept remains ours unless we agree a build with you.
The private Studio
The Studio is for people we have given an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use the Studio only for the work assigned to you, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
Using the site fairly
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, copy the template library to redistribute it, submit other people’s details without their knowledge, or use the forms to send unlawful or abusive material.
Our work and yours
The site, its designs, text, images and code belong to Fancy Little Company or to those who license them to us. Buying a template gives you the rights in the template licence and no others. Material you send us stays yours; you allow us to use it to reply and to do the work you asked for.
What we are responsible for
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. The site relies on other providers, including PayPal for payment, and may link to sites we do not control; their own terms apply to what they do.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from how a template is set up, hosted or operated after purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date shows the current version, and a purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made. These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. How we handle personal information is in the privacy notice.
