What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry
The contact form asks for your name, business, email address, an optional website, what you are interested in, an optional preferred time to talk and your message. We use these to reply and to scope the work you asked about. Sending an enquiry does not add you to a mailing list.
When you buy a template
We record the email address you give for delivery, the template, the licence terms you accepted, and the PayPal order or subscription reference. We use them to send your receipt and private download link, to support the purchase and to keep the accounting records the law requires. Payment is taken by PayPal; we never see or store your card or bank details.
When we send your business a website concept
We sometimes prepare an uncommissioned website concept for a business and email it to a contact address the business publishes for enquiries. We keep the business name, that address, where we found it, what we sent and any reply. Every such email has an opt-out link. If you opt out we stop, and we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
When you apply as on-screen talent
The application asks for contact details, links you choose to share, a headshot and optional video. It requires confirmation that you are an adult, and your consent to be contacted and to have the material reviewed. Applications are private casting records. They are not published.
When you use the private Studio
People we work with are given an account. We keep the account name, a protected form of the password (never the password itself) and a record of sign-ins and changes, so that work is attributed correctly and access can be withdrawn.
Technical information
Like any website, our hosts process your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We use the IP address to limit repeated sign-in and form attempts.
Who processes information for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for its own job: Netlify and Cloudflare (hosting, database and private file storage), PayPal (payments and subscriptions), Resend (receipts and download emails) and Titan, provided through GoDaddy (our mailbox). They may process information outside Jamaica, including in the United States. We do not sell personal information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and conversations are kept while they are useful to the conversation or project and removed on request. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Private concept previews expire, normally 14 days after they are published, and download links expire after 30 days. Opt-out records are kept so the opt-out keeps working. Talent applications are kept while a casting decision is open and removed on request.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it or to stop using it, and you can withdraw a consent you gave. Email hello@fancylittlecompany.com from the address concerned so we can find the record; we will answer within 30 days. Some records, such as proof of a purchase or of an opt-out, must be kept even after a deletion request.
These rights are recognised by Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, 2020, and by similar laws elsewhere. If you are unhappy with how we respond you may complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
When we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and its effective date. See also our site terms, template licence and refund terms.
